[ SHOWGSD-L ] Discarding MYCOPLASMA

That is too bad. We have turned down several bitches that did turn up positive
for myco plasma with HIGH numbers. They were treated, re tested, cleared,
brought back to be bred, and whelped large healthy litters. It's usually just
a
temporary infection that can be brought on or caused by a number of reasons.
Any Breeder wants healthy vigorous litters whether the Germans do or not.
But I sure wouldn't throw away a top bitch or top stud dog because they had
temporarily contracted mycoplasma.......nor would I tell those bitch owners they
should discard theirs.
