From what I know, (and it is never much), I think our membership
chairwoman is going to resign when her term on the board ends.
How that relates to judging the National, I have no idea.
I remember one year when the treasurer was allowed to quietly go away due
to the club's books missing and a question about the club's funds, (and
evidently stolen). Also, there was an event when a board member hacked
another organization, and tendered a resignation to protect the club.
Unless sex is involved, (or white shepherds), it just isn't that
interesting.
As for a board member judging the Nationals, I want the best person to
judge. If that person is on the board, it makes no difference to me.
I understand in Germany the head of the SV must judge their show. I guess
we could do that too, but then Flower Boy would have even more to grouse
about.
Who would want the head of the SV judging our National?

you cannot legislate honesty, but often times perception is reality and if
lines between working on the board where one may be involved with making
decisions related to the national and then judging the national are blurred in
the minds of the members, then maybe it's best to not let them blur! lol .
