I had the honor of spending a short time with Dick when I judged in San
Diego-what courage and determination.
We spoke of his illness, as he knew I was a surgeon, and was so optimistic
and was doing great at the time.
I remember his great love of the breed and his breed responsibility -which
we all could emulate.
My sincere condolences to his family,
