[ SHOWGSD-L ] Dick Whalen

At one of my very first Specialty Shows, the tall nice man came over to me
and asked me why I was supporting some situation on this list. After my mouth
closed, he introduced himself. I tried to explain my reasoning, and he
explained why my reasoning was wrong. :-) All very politely, with the
utmost
respect for my opinions.
Because I do better in the written word, than in oral communication anymore,
Dick and I had a few more discussions via email. If he disagreed with my
opinions, he wrote how I was wrong, and he was right:-)
Everytime he saw me after that initial encounter, he said hello to me, and we
exchanged some pleasant words.
A true gentleman
I will miss you, Dick Whalen.
