Actually, I switched FROM Pro Plan and Pro Plan Performance to Kirkland.
I have MUCH better coats on Kirkland than I ever did on Pro Plan.
If you compare back panels, the Kirkland is the same as the "Chicken Soup"
line that Diamond makes.
Like all brands, they have cheap, some good, some better, some best....

tell you they have fed Old Roy and Dad's for 10+ yrs with no problems too.
The good majority of people think they are feeding the best until they
