Cheri where do you live? Here in SD it's still $19.98 a bag AT OUR TSC
STORE.....! And, the kennel down the street from me sells it too, and they are
ALSO at $22.84 (that includes tax).

Well friends,
I am sorry to say that I am really angry at the Diamond company. I have
been using Diamond Lamb and Rice for about 5 or 6 years now and my dogs love
it
and do well on it. (and even Paul Root said it is a good dog food!! ) I
mainly love it cause it has NO CORN, NO SOY, and NO WHEAT. I also love
the
price cause I can afford it. And...it has also passed through ALL of the
recalls in the past couple years with flying colors.
I buy my dog food at the Tractor Supply Co. store near my home. It used to
be $19.98 for a 40# bag for years. Then when all the last recall horrors
was
going on, it went on sale for $17.98 for the 40# bag and has been that
price for several months now. Tonight I stopped to get some. The price on
the
shelf said $27.98 !!??!!
I called one of the girls over and asked her what was going on and she said
Diamond raised the price $10.00/bag !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a fit and told
her I would contact the company tomorrow and find out what in heck they think
they are doing. (they love me in there--my dogs go in with me to get the
dog
food and everyone in there loves my dogs--PLUS the fact that I am a long
time
good customer). She gave it to me for the lower price and told me to call
Gary, the mgr, and he would probably let me continue to buy it for a lower
price than the $27.98 but it would probably be more than the $17.98 I been
paying. I told her that I would also alert all my breeder friends on this
list
and let them know.
Hey guys, I can understand a price increase--everything always goes up--but
come on--TEN DOLLARS PER BAG????? ALL AT ONCE?? That is pure GREED. And I
am going to tell them that.
Considering the $17.98 price--that is more than a 50% increase !! That is
crazy--and I am MAD. I have been faithful to this company for a long time
and
every time a "dog food discussion" arises, I speak of how I love this
food--not to mention the 15 or more people I have persuaded to switch to
this
food--and my puppy people.
I plan to call them in the next day or so and let them know how I feel and I
will let you all know the results.
!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAD.
