I have to enter into this thread. My bitch is the perfect example of an
American bred GSD VERY capable of doing the work IF given the
opportunity.
I purchased CH "Glory" as a finished Champion 3 months shy of her 4th
birthday. I had never met this bitch and had her flown from California to
Illinois, trusting her pedigree and the word of her wonderful breeder
Twyla Miner.
At seven, (and 2 litters later) she is nearly ready to trial for her
UD. This bitch has conquered every task I have put her to and I do not
doubt she has the drive, soundness and biddability to continue.
Her sons that I have kept are both doing well at agility - one nearly
ready to trial. Another is at this moment adding obedience titles to his
name (These pups are by a Am/Can Sel Excellent sire)
For the record, my bitch is 2006 GSDCA National High Scoring Champion,
CH Lorien's Lady Day CDX RE OAP NJP U-CD FO TC HIC CGC FFX-OG
