a great many years ago when I still taught school -the last day my students who
knew I was an animal lover gave me a pure white long haired blue eyed kitten.
He was absolutely beautiful but did not pay any attention to me. When I took
him in for his shots my vet took one look at the pure white and blue eyes and
said he is deaf. and by gum he was. So we got another kitten to act as he
hearing companion and they both lived a long life. Try living with an
independent I will do as I please cat who can't hear you. He had a great nose
though and always knew when I opened a can of cat food
