Dave that was a great story. I don't know whether I was blessed,lucky or
what. But in the 37 years of breeding and showing my dogs along, with the 42
yrs
of judging GSDs and many other breeds,I've never had any dog ,much less GSDs
show any aggressive action . Yes I had Dog fights that I had to get in and
separate (two German-bred males that the kennel boy accidentally let out
together,and two bitches that usually ran together ( mother -daughter team) I
was
bitten both times getting them separated,but I sure this happens to
anyone.who has raised a number of dogs--Accidents happen, But as far as
aggressive
-bad temperament--None. Back when Rottweilers were still being imported from
Germany,and posed problems in our AKC shows sometimes ,they were disqualified
In order to be reinstated they had to be re-examined by two or more AKC
judges of that breed,with the AKC Rep present. I was called many times by the
AKC
to be one of the judges to re-examine,and I never had a problem.Now ,of
course ,the Rottweilers are couch potatoes,no more problems,even though they
still
