When I was 15 and 16 I drove a motorcycle in Michigan year around. I don't
remember a single Winter week when I didn't end up sliding on the ice. I
remember hitting the drifts at 30 miles per hour and flying through the snow
and
ice, to avoid stopping and often sliding into the same drifts.
We never wore helmets in those days, so that may well explain my love of dog
shows.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
