Evan I agree about that completely although unfortunately I wish OFA would
not give the testers the option of not including the results in their
database if they are negative. I am sure there are many out there that have
came back carriers and at risk and chose not to have it exposed. I had from
the get go of submitting these tests the intentions of letting the results
known even though I know the tests are a work in progress and also knowing I
will possibly get some negative feedback with whatever I chose to do with my
beloved young man Gehren.

It seems to me that using OFA is important. It is an open data base, so
everyone can see the results. If we are determined to improve the breed,

should share this information and not have to depend on someone telling us
the results.
I know I looked up one of the big winners out here and he was A/A. As
such, I would only breed to him with a bitch clear for DM. It is an
important
tool.
