Certainly have thought about this too.
I charged my brother (if he is still alive) with the responsibility. I gave
him 2 options.....take all the ashes and row (no noise/motor for me) to the
middle of Hope Bay in northern Ontario where I spent a good deal of time at
our cottage and had the most peace of mind in my life, and dump them and me in
the middle of the bay.
Should it be winter and frozen, I suggested putting all of us in a box in
the trunk and whenever he got stuck in the snow, throw some ashes under the
wheels and thank us for getting him out of being mired.
Then I talked to the funeral director in Canada about my troubles and she
suggested a false bottom casket. They could order me one with an extra 8
inches at the bottom in the form of a hollow type shelf with a locking side
door.
We measured it out that it could hold 40-45 containers. Since I am around
25 right now, maybe I will pass on before I exceed the limit.
So my problem solved......they go with me. Makes me feel like a pharaoh or
something!!
