My dogs like to eat around sunset, year round. I used to complain about the
time change, when they ate at 7:00pm every day, but noticed that in the
summers, they weren't typically hungry until the sun went down (and often,
neither am I). If they're eating at sunset time always, what is it to them?
They don't have to care if WE change the clocks.... Though I would sure
prefer to be left on daylight savings time... They say the time change is
so that kids have light going/coming from school. What a farce! We'd go to
school in the dark & return in the dark if we had after school programs-
but never saw sun both ways even if we didn't. Even kids would rather have
the sun after school I am sure!
As a younger child, I remember going to bed at 8:30pm regardless if the sun
was still out or not. My parents said "that's what curtains are for".
