client - purchaser - buyer - shopper - patron - vendee
Personally, I think of myself as a "member" who has a membership in a club of
"like" members, all for the good of what the club represents. Customer of the
PC? Not. However, I am not a "member" of the AKC, as I have never joined the
AKC. I do purchase registrations, etc. So I guess I could be considered a
"customer" of the AKC.
