Gee, 00 Buckshot must be an international load. That is what we use up here
in New Brunswick too.Although, I have resorted to 000 Buck from time to
time.

Hi List,
We had the same problem in Washington State last year and I solved the
problem the same way!
We had a Griffon Bitch in season and the pack of coyotes were there and
trying to climb the fence, our GSD bitch Ch Omegas's Wikiki was attacking
the pack from inside the fence with our young 8 month male GSD as support...
Kiki feels that all of our Griffs are her puppies and would protect them at
all costs...I ended the problem with one shot from a 40 cal Glock at about
25 feet ... clean up of the remains was handled by the rest of the pack!
We now live in Tennessee and have been bothered by Coyotes but not by packs
the GSDs are able to keep them out of the six foot fenced dog yard.
