I use both the chicken and rice and the mature - which the oldsters love.
My cats will eat Kirkland but complain. However, they look great on it.
They are happy when I get them Friskies - so I do 2 bags Kirkland, one bag

I love Kirkland dog food...I feed the chicken and rice and have had no problems
with it. I do supplement with additional fish oil but that's it. Coats are
fantastic. You can get a 40 pound bag for around $20. The canned food is also
awesome and smells good too. The only complaint is that it has a low water
content and can be hard to mix with the dog food. Interestingly, my cats hate
the Kirkland cat food.
Here are the ingredients for the Chicken and Rice. I believe it is 26%
Protein and 16% fat....
chicken, chicken meal, whole grain brown rice, cracked pearled barley,
chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and vitamin e), egg product, beet
pulp, potatoes, fish meal, flaxseed, natural flavor, brewers dried yeast,
millet, carrots, peas, kelp, apples, dried skim mild, cranberry powder,
potassium shloride, salt, sholine chloride, rosemary extract, parsley flake,
dried chicory root, glucosamine hydrochloride, vitamin E supplement, iron
proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper manganese proteinate, manganous oxide,
chondroitin sulfate, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, calcium
pantothanate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vit.
B6), vitamin B12 supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of
vitamin K activity), riboflavin, vitamin D supplement, folic acid.
I don't feed the Lamb & Rice as I want the higher % of protein and
fat that chicken and rice offers. I think this is 23% protein and 13% fat
LAMB & RICE
Lamb, Lamb meal, whole grain brown rice, rice flour, white rice, egg product,
