Years and years ago a kid I had in juvenile hall, where I was working as a
counselor told me the story about why the English called them Alsations...I
didn't know!....few years later that same young man ended up going to state
prison, I kept up with him when I got out of juvenile hall, even gave him one
of my protection dog puppies.....he was a great baseball player ( the kid, not
the dog).....J.Easthouse was his name....I hated when I could not turn a kid
around.....not ashamed to say, but when I worked with adults I didn't put in
near the effort....sorry Stormy for getting side-tracked...FB

You all know that they were not called German Shepherds, they called them
