The rumor has been passed on to me that some people are wanting to "Go
Texan" at the National. We think that is great! So we are having a contest
for
the following categories:
1. Best Western Hat
2. Best Western Jacket
3. Most Authentic Cowboy/girl
4. Best Rhinestone Cowboy/girl
Judging will be on Wednesday. Wear you Western 'duds' all day! Then come
to the R.V. Corral at Ford Center , look for a circle of wagons, er I mean
R.V.'s , after the show, and parade around for our judges. (Those judges may
be watching all day too)
Yes, there will be prizes! Mary Tripp has graciously agreed to donate the
prizes. But she won't tell even me what they are...
So, dress up on Wednesday--Let er rip! And you Westeners, you had better
not let those dudes from the East show you up.
