[ SHOWGSD-L ] Conflicting opinions re: American Humane Association

I know this was on the list after Westminster, but I have received various
emails (from pet leg. lists) that state that AHA is indeed a 'soft" Animal
Rights group. I went to their site (link below), and did see on THIER links a
link to Animal Defense League (a biggy right now on the Arista list), but could
see nothing more that identified them as tied to Peta, DDL, HSUS, etc. OR
anyplace that advertised an agenda as an agenda to end all breeding of dogs,
hunting and competitive dog events. So I'm asking y'all (A native
Californian,
but I slip once in a while), for any info that you may have.
Following is an excerpt from the email that I received:

organization, the American Humane Association (AHA). The AHA is part of the
