Brenda- I have had cement runs for over 40 years, which I now use only in
rainy weather, and I do not seal or paint the cement. In fact, I use a
light brush finish on the runs to give the dogs traction. My first
experience was with very a smooth cement finish and had to have those runs
sand blasted to roughen them up as the dogs were slipping and sliding
constantly.
