Actually, it's a "feel good" word for removing the reproductive organs
of dogs and cats. Like euthanize rather than kill, or "place" rather
than sell. A while back, I started dropping those words along with
furkids, pet parents, etc. I now own my dogs, I castrated my bitches
(yes, it is a word for both sexes), I sold my bitch's pups.
But when Dreamer acts in a cute way, I tell him what a baby he is :-)
