I wonder how much more relaxing dog shows would be if everyone followed the 
rules and did not "enhance" colour, double handle, "alter" tails, ears, etc.  
If we just embraced showing the dogs as they are would we not be ahead in the 
long run?  No one would get a surprise litter of faded pigment, hound ears, shy 
dogs.  One could breed with a reasonable expectation of what the resulting 
litter would be.  No worries about how to hide the "surprises."
Sorry, after a week of legalized ritualistic torture masquerading as medical 
testing in the nature of being magnetized, electrified, bled and equally fun 
experiments by the medical community maybe I am just cranky!  :))
