[ SHOWGSD-L ] Colour Enhancement and New Baby

First the colour.. I regularly get accused of enhancing one of my dogs';
she is a fairly striking black and red. In fact she is the same red that
everyone wants to dye their dogs. Tami Howard (Pheenie's co-owner) and I
have often laughed about the number of people who either whisper behind my
back or outright tell me I have dyed my dog. Anyone who really knows me
knows that I will not dye my dogs. It should be interesting when she
produces black and fire engine red puppies; I wonder what they will say
about them? GRIN!
Now for the new baby.. We are thrilled to announce the arrival of four new
baby "Angel". Angel is a 15.3hh, 5 year old Thoroughbred mare. She is
settling in well and has completely stolen my heart. I have not had/ridden
in 14 years; I used to be very competitive in eventing and dressage. I did
not realize how much I missed this part of my life until recently. It has
been a bit of an adjustment for the dogs, there is a big brown thing in the
field, I am sure that they will figure out that she is staying one of these
days (grin).
