Everyone needs to remember that if a Board member did not feel they had enough
information to Vote YES or NO on the Hunte issue they could have simply
abstained.
Now we hear Board members felt they were misled on the issue of removing
Margy.
I'm a little concerned that some of the Board has now twice been duped into
voting for something they apparently didn't agree with because they were misled
or did not have all the information they needed to make an informed decision.
Ultimately each individual Board Member is responsible for their own vote.
Blaming others because one didn't have enough information or wrong information
shows a lack of ownership and responsibility IMO.

PS - Anti Hunte, Anti suspending Board Members without Cause - but lets be
fair here.

How could anyone have gotten those answers, they were in closed session? So
it appears we can ask you. As legal affairs person at the time, how much
instruction did you give to the board? Did you suggest a legal outside opinion
on behalf of the club before the vote? Was everyone well appraised legally of
the insurance coverage? If so, why would some still have perhaps thought
they could be sued? Do you feel that you held up your responsibility in legal
counsel to the members of the board?.
