[ SHOWGSD-L ] Coat Factor No Coat Factor

I've got a genetic question-My bitch carries the coat factor so did the sire we
breed her too. Very nice litter with one coat.?However both sire and dam have
in their pedigree no coat factor parents or relatives.?
What is the likely hood of getting a puppy that does not carry the coat factor?
?Some think just because both parents?carry the coat factor so will?the
offspring, I'm in question because I think genes are genes and who?knows how
they will?match up.?I'd love to hear what others know or think.
