I have to add my two cents to the posts about the GSDC of Sacramento Valley
meeting.
I have only been a member of this group for almost 6 years since leaving the
Bay Area (N. Calif) . I belonged to a larger club in the SF Bay area(Diablo
Valley) and am still a member there. However I don't participate on a
monthly basis as I do with the Sacramento club, time, distance etc.
The Sacramento club is a small club, but we are dedicated to the breed and
our dogs. The club events are managed well by every one pitching in. Working
together with a smile and eagerness to get the job done, this gives a small
club strength. And the GSDCSV has that strength
Maybe sometimes we have more fun than work, and or eat too much cake....
(VBEG) However we get the job done. Now with two valued members being on the
GSDCA board, we may have more to do when they are at GSDCA board meetings.
Bottom line, I am glad some of you had two pieces of cake, that way I didn't
bring any home, so hopefully my pants will fit!
