Do you remember the annual meeting at the 1978 National in Kansas City? It
wasn't my first National but I hadn't attended too many. We had just moved
to VA (the first time) so my treat was to go to the National with my
Covy-Tucker Hill bitch. That annual meeting was something else. Everyone was
in an
uproar over the Futurities and I remember Barbara Woelfel (Lopez) standing up
there and fielding questions. Thank goodness I never had to do that. She
did very well!!
And I don't believe anyone checked membership at that meeting.

the room was.
