Animal Welfare, not Animal Rights!
Animal Rights Groups Claim Victory -- closing down Barnum & Bailey! Any use
of animals is "exploitation" to these fanatics, who work in incremental
steps to achieve their agenda. They've been telling us for 25 years what
they intend to do and we've been telling you, but apathy has reigned.
"That'll never affect me," has been the typical response. RPOA has even
been accused of "hyperbole" at times -- "exaggeration for effect and not
meant to be taken literally." WRONG! We do mean to be taken literally. Do
you believe us now? Read on.
THE CIRCUS: First no elephants, now no circus.
Barnum & Bailey Circus is shutting down after 146 years with their last
performance in May with "Animal Rights" Groups claiming victory. See more

SEA WORLD has been a major target for years and can no longer breed Orcas.
No more Shamu!
State "Puppy Mill" Laws are written to "eliminate" dog and cat breeders, not
"regulate" them. If no breeding is allowed, animals become extinct!
Few pet stores exist anymore and we have shrinking Newspaper Classified Ads:
Dogs and Cats for Sale. For a city of almost 1.5 million population, the
San Antonio newspaper has a dozen or so dogs for sale ads each week and
maybe one ad for kittens.
How long before shelters run out of "rescued" dogs with so many sterilized
pets now? Mixes will eventually dwindle down to feral bloodlines - without
breed distinctions.
HSUS has convinced USDA/APHIS to regulate breeders of all species of pets
selling "sight unseen."
Agriculture, ranchers and hunting enthusiasts are a constant target for
these extremists.
The noose tightens!

ALL WORKING DOGS? FIELD TRIALS, HUNTING TESTS, OBEDIENCE/AGILITY TRIALS,
ETC?
NO EXEMPTIONS in the 4-year-old Texas Dog & Cat Breeders Law have been
granted for breeders of working/performance dogs to date! Show dog
breeders/exhibitors are not considered to be "performance dogs" by Texas
Department of Licensing & Regulation!
