I did check this out and actually did the survey. I know I did contradict
myself on a couple issues. But, that is because of the options given. So, I
clarified myself in the comment section, I hope.
My feeling is that mixed breed competition should be like the CGC program.
Anyone can can be included and get a certificate of accomplishment, NOT an AKC
title. It should be a separate entity from the titles and accomplishments of
the purebred dogs. This could be held in conjunction with AKC title events.
This would give mixed breed folks a chance to meet and see purebred dogs and
maybe go that route. Most of us started out with a mutt we loved. We saw the
other side of the fence and got into purebred dogs. If we want more people in
the sport, we need to expose them to it. I also think all the mixed breed dogs
should show proof of spay/neuter so these "titles" cannot be used to promote
breeding designer mutts. I support it with restrictions. JMHO. Flame away if
