Bill, until breeders screen more carefully the people they sell dogs to, we are
going to have an neverending problem of well bred dogs going to breed rescue.
Just heard of one last night. A rescue person in Michigan has had 13 dogs
dropped off or given to her by a person , who has bought well bred dogs from
well known breeders. The dogs have been in poor condition with at least three
of them heart worm positive. This lady tried to buy a show puppy from me last
weekend. In defense of the breeders, they were not notified by the rescue of
the situation with these dogs.
