We have our last BBQ contest tomorrow ( there are so many ways to cheat at
a BBQ contest it's almost funny) ... we plan to get beat "fair and
square". Just like at dog shows! lol.
I don't agree with Ed. Not everyone cheats. Although I understand he often
goes to Lucilles and buys some ribs for his presentation.
As an attorney something that will shock most people is, that you must
always tell the truth. It isn't a morality thing, or a religious belief. But,
more importantly, "truth requires no memory." If you tell the truth, you
never have to wonder what you said the last time.
And, in reality, cheating does no good. It is better to win without
cheating, than to just win. But, then again, I am not that enamored with
winning.
I do the best I can and if I am right, the jury will tell me so. If I am
wrong, they tell me that too. I would rather lose honestly, than win by
cheating. But, that is just me, (and Ed too).
