[ SHOWGSD-L ] Charm Update

Thank you all for sending Charm your prayers and well wishes. It's working! I
went to see her last night. She was alert and even stood up to greet me. I
sat with her and in typical Charm fashion, she tucked her head into my chest to
comfort me :-) She stood there for about 5 mins before she had to lay back
down. Since she couldn't stand or walk on her own when I brought her in, I was
hopeful. She was getting oxyglobin (I think that is right) to help her blood
replenish.
This morning, she ate a little chicken and walked on her own to go out and
potty. She's alert and gaining strength. They are keeping her another night.
Barring any complications, she can come home tomorrow.
So many of you emailed me with your support. Some of you sharing your
experiences with this spleen thing. I cannot begin to tell you all how much I
appreciate your kind words. I apologize if I did not respond to everyone. I
have been sleep deprived and trying to keep myself and the other dogs sane.
Time for a nap. Thank you all so much.
