I don't remember them all, but one was using the club for financial gain,
because he put on his web site that he was president of the WDA. Another was
not allowing all the discussion before the club called for a vote. There was
something about appointing someone to the nominating committee that was not a
club member. Also, not appointing enough alternates to the nomination
committee. I also remember one charge had to do with not appointing someone
to be an
assistant.
If asked, I am sure Ken would post them. I don't know the results of the
charges and his ability to respond. I was told he was removed from the meeting
by David Landau, the vice-president.
I was not impressed with the charges, but I represent Mr. Downing. I do
intend to take action for the accusation that he was of low moral character and
that he was a crook. Those do not go to charges, but rather were part of the
letter and I recognize them as slander. The person making them is a California
attorney, so the suit will be filed in California.
