All 3 of my dogs had their breeder's kennel name on them and that's they way it stayed. I did pick their show names but never even considered adding my kennel name to dogs I did not breed. Even the litter that Kolby came from (out of my Rhini, who was leased) and Maybe we did things differently from the 50's to the 90s ,but when I sold any puppy,it had already been named with my kennel name. If during the interview with the people ,who had put a down payment on a puppy--they came up with a name that was agreeable,within my guidelines,I would register it that way, ,but my kennel name was always on it . In their contract,they agreed not to change.
