Cool!  One thing people might not know, is you can get a CHIC number for a
dog that has passed away.  My Ch. Christy had earned all the requirements
before there was such a thing as CHIC.  I sent OFA copies of the certificate
for her TC, they already had her records for the OFA hips, elbows, thyroid
and cardiac and thus, several years after her death, Christy became Ch.
Abraxas Repeat Performance HT TC CHIC.

This year we are using the CHIC list in the Red Book to honor those  who
have taken the initiative to have their dogs certified in these health
areas.
 Melissa Campbell is the new CHIC "keeper of the list" and "answerer  of
all questions" concerning CHIC.  Thanks Mel for taking this on for us  :)
