You could not offend me Wayne when you speak the truth. There were
"issues" with 2 futurities in Canada last year. I know myself I spoke with
someone
on the board and said I would probably not nominate ever again, or show at
one. Sure that no one really wants to send anyway away, but ethical practices
should be considered from the exhibitor on up to the judge.
Further to your comments on the board meeting, there are some rules in place
now to help alleviate the questionable problems, and we will hope they solve
some of these concerns. I am giving the club the benefit of doubt this year
and will show and see how things go.
Appearances of impropriety can do a lot of damage......I feel it probably
did and it is unfortunate that the already hurting clubs will do so more of
that.
Been to the Central futurity along with many of the other regions. I know
they all work hard to put on a good show, and am sure low entry or not, they
will still succeed this year.
