Well it starts out that people"think" they want a German shepherd and fail to
do enough research on the breed. Then the lack of guidance from the breeder on
how to train a puppy. I am using this as a general idea...phrase ok...and then
you add the possible idea the pet buyer bought from a weekend warrior
breeder...byb as some say. And it gets worse from there. Angela Scott

Let's see if we can confine this discussion to why GSDs are populating the
shelters, and leave the origin of the breed out of it. It simply is too
sensitive of a subject and always devolves into one vs the other⦠whatever
the origin
