Not me..... Nothing funnier than a noseless person...

What really bothers me is that: Carmen screwed up.... He knew what he was
doing was not right and he did it anyway. He also supported some issues that
he KNEW that the majority of the GSDCA was opposed to. So I probably would
not vote for him again to be a delegate. THAT is a personal issue.

But what bothers me MORE than the fact that Carmen made a HUGE mistake is
that many of us act like we have never done ANYTHING that was as bad or worse.

In the scheme of things (things that I have done wrong) I am pretty sure
that this mistake of Carmen's could and should be forgiven on a personal
level.
I am positive that I don't have any right to stone him.... have him whipped
with a cat-of-nine-tails......or require payment by enslaving his first-born.
But I am also positive that there are some on this list who DO feel that his
mistake is worse than ANYTHING they have ever done.

Carmen has never been a personal friend. I have never gone out of my way to
have a conversation with him. By the same token, I am sure that my lack of
initiative hasn't caused Carmen to lose one minute of sleep. BUT I would like
for him to know..... that I still support him as a person..... that I would be
VERY disappointed if he were no longer a member of the GSDCA and involved in
the breed as a judge, exhibitor, breeder, and advocate for the breed.... and
I would DEFINATELY go out of my way, if I saw him, to let him know those
things. I would also let him know that I appreciate all he has done for the
breed and it's supporters.

As for Jim Moses' letter: I support Jim 100%.... because I know that he did
write that letter as a loyal friend. I appreciate loyalty in friends. He
did not say that there was nothing wrong with what Carmen did; he basically
said to us that while Carmen did make a mistake, he (Jim) supported his friend
and forgave him. The point he was making is that we should forgive him also
because Carmen has served us well for MANY years. I agree.
