My thoughts exactly.  My main issue is seeing that Hunte does not become a 
mamber.  I can forgive people of mistakes when they prove themselves worthy of 
forgiveness.  I have no doubt that Carmen will do that in the future.  
 
Like Stormy, I am more concerned about the ability to own, show and breed my 
dogs than I am about Carmen's future.  I believe he will survive this.  But, 
will we?  Let's put our energy toward the more important issue at hand.  We 
need to work together to defeat AB1634.  If it happens here, it will happen 
everywhere.  Don't think you are going to be exempt because you live in Podunk, 
whatever.  JMHO

Well, Mike, it is personal, of course.   :-)   
I have been on this list since shortly after its inception..give or take a 
year or so.   I have seen so many positive aspects of the list that I couldn't 
conceive of dropping it...ever.


I won't go into what I've learned, or the great people I have "internet" 
met...been there, done that.


Many of the same names posting?   Yep.   You get that in ANY list.   And 
_many_ times, it is the passionate, caring people who take the time to post, to 
H*** with the consequences.   On THIS list, I see passionate posters on both 
sides.   If you are only looking at one side, it's hard to glance over at the 
other side, no?


When the dissenters choose not to post, is it not _their_ decision not to do 
so?   In any cause?   In any discussion?   I have just as often been on an 
unfavored side of a discussion, and felt no compunction about hold back my 
thoughts.   What's going to happen?   Come through the internet into my little 
trailer and get me?   (I'm remembering the 'dog doesn't run on his tail" 
discussion)


I am more interested right now that Andrew Hunte does not get voted in as a 
member of the GSDCA.   There will be time to see where Carmen stands for the 
GSDCA.   And yes, I have always been an admirer of Carmen Battaglia, and No, he 
did not do what I considered proper for the GSDCA members regarding Hunte and 
Petland.   But that's MY thoughts and my right to say so.   


Please continue posting your ideas.   I don't know how to crawl through the 
computer and 'get ya" :-)


Besides, I'm up to my proverbial **** working to defeat AB1634 in California 
right now, and trying to convince all the clubs to join CFoDC to have a united 
front against like legislation popping up like ticks all over California.   
Yes, tick.   Sucking the lifeblood of the dog owners resolution to enjoy and 
own dogs.
