I've received a couple in the past, too. I attended one of his
seminars a couple of years ago and could have put my name
down then. I've also read a number of articles on his web site,
so I could have signed up.
He may have sent this one out because it covered some of the
things he reported on as our Delegate at the July Board meeting,
such the Online Record Keeping and full litter registration. As our
Delegate, it can't hurt to let us know what AKC is doing.
BTW - I didn't see anything in there promoting himself or
saying "Vote for Me". I also didn't see anything running down
other GSD people - whether running for the Board or promoting
others who are running for the Board. Too bad we don't have
more like that on the List. Fortunately there are a few -
otherwise it wouldn't be much value.
