[ SHOWGSD-L ] Canned pumpkin

I feed canned pumpkin regularly for firm stools, but for more than a year, it's
been hard to come by. The shortage is over, but my local groceries now consider
it a "seasonal" item. Yesterday, I paid $2.89 for a 15-oz. can of organic
canned pumpkin — the *only* kind I could find in several supermarkets. Yikes.
Going online, I discovered that I could buy a case of 12 cans of the very same
organic pumpkin for $13.60 -- $1.13 a can with free shipping -- if I agreed to
an automatic shipment at an interval of my choosing. I already use Amazon Prime
shipping and consider it a bargain. I *think* but am not sure that if your
order is more than $25, i.e. two cases, your shipping is free even without
Prime shipping.
There are reviews that complain about dented cans, but in all cases, Amazon
made it right at no cost to the buyer. I ordered a case to see for myself.
YMMV, but I thought I'd share what I found. Saving $1.76 a can works for me.
