One judge I admire and respect for all breed and specialty us Jack
Kilgore. He knows what he is doing and is an amazing judge in canada.
I have to go yo my book for the others I'll post when I find my book.

You have to find shows they are at.

will win in both.
Generally, a specialty judge is more knowledgeable of the
standard,
and there are some all-breed judges who will go with the familiar
handlers, who they trust to bring them a good dog. There are some
good all-breed judges, (such as me and my wife when we judge an
all-breed show, as Tedi and I will do in Beverly Hills next year),
and
some specialty judges who do not have a clue.
I did take my bitch to the Canadian National to go Winner's Bitch,
and
then go Select so that the American judge for the American
National
who would be there to watch, would give her an American Select.
It worked, but I was younger and dumber then. Some times a plan
does
work. However, I doubt I would ever try that again.
She was finished in the United States, but had to come from the
classes in Canada. When I saw the open class, I expected her to go
third or fourth. She won. But, never again would I try that.
Have a good dog, have a good handler, or just show on your own. A
great dog will most of the time win. A good dog will win some of
the
time. An average dog will win, but not often.
