fully agree with their decision...a lack of motel rooms. Shoreline has
worked around the show date change as I'm sure other clubs will. Beside

our National affects clubs here also...Topline was affected almost every year
and has changed its show date to June.
In California there are no other available weekend. There is no work around.
We moved our October shows to the September 8th day because we could never
tell when the GSDCA was going to have our Nationals. We seemed to have to
change our date every year to work around it since the Parent club started
mostly
having the nationals in October.
Next year we can go back to our original date and I think even the following
year.
It is a pain and the AKC does not like constantly moving our dates around....
Do I blame the Parent Clubs, either one of them... No, they have to do what
they have to do....Some day it could cause us to cancel our fall shows or do
back to backs in the spring but not for now.
