[ SHOWGSD-L ] Canadian GSD Standard

Recently I was reviewing the Canadian Standard for the German Shepherd 
Dog and was reacquainted with a sentence in the section on gait that we 
might consider adding to the American Standard the next time it is 
revised.  That sentence reads "The feet travel close to the ground, and 
neither fore or hind feet should lift high on either forward reach or 
backward push."  Is this a good suggestion???  D.D.
