After having several sold blacks over the years, I have noticed that some of
them get seasonal tan between their toes or even down their legs. Other's have
gotten it as they've aged.

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Can you explan this?
I have had lots of bi-color shepherds in my lifetime, but very few ( two I
believe) solid blacks... The two blacks I have now I got as puppies , don't
believe they have close relatives in their pedigrees, but I could be wrong, one
is about 4 years old, and the other is under 2 years, they both have brownish
silvery hairs on the lowers back and inside of both hind legs! Now here is the
really big mystery! The bitch has tan under her tail (anus).... Now when I got
her the tan anus was BLACK! Is she now a bi-color? Did she join a gang, and get
a tan tattoo ? What in the wide world of sports is going on here? "Me" is very
very confused! Maybe it's her diet.. lol FB
