Is there a method of drafting our own bill to attempt to get passed. I would
like to spay and neuter all politicians, there are way too many of them.

I saw the same thing in the opposing list. I also saw that Westside GSD
Rescue was
in support. Since they are not listing the opposing individuals our clubs
need to get
letters in on letter head. There are several KC that are not on the list as
well.
Maybe some of us can contact our local ones and get their support.
I will work on Hanford KC, Merced and Del Monte, since these are local to
me. I already
know that MBDTC (Monterey Bay Dog Training Club) will be on the opposing
list.
They host agility, tracking and obedience trails.
Who in the GSD clubs has the letter head stationary to write letters
opposing AB1634? We have
14 GSD clubs alone in the CA area per the parent website. If the other
regional clubs submitted
letters and did not make the opposing list then we need to resubmit.

The proposed new California law Assembly Bill 1634 is in progress. The
committee met on Tuesday and plan to meet again in two weeks. It appears
that this
bill will probably be approved. I have looked at the list of organizations
that have written against it and I only find the names of two GSD Clubs on
the
list. Los Angeles and Santa Maria/San Luis Bay.
If we are going to fight this proposed law we had better get on record. All
of the Shepherd clubs and, individuals, in California should write now. If
you
need information, e mail me and I will foward contact information to you.
Don't sit on your hands and then complain because the state wants all of
your
dogs neutered by 4 months of age.
