And we are, sliding right into the laps of people like Wayne Pacelle (HSUS),
Peta wannabes, those that are looking for bigger budgets for their shelters
w/out concern for people's right to own and enjoy their pet.
SO...I ask again, WRITE THOSE LETTERS to the CA appropriations Committee
assemblymembers. It ISN'T too late. They count the opposing/supporting
letters
at the consultant's office today, but it's the Assemblymembers that will be
voting next Wednesday. And (I will publicly admit this) I am a registered
Democrat and still fear what the Democrats will do next Wednesday. (Ah for
back in
the days when being a Democrat meant that you were for the farmers, the
laborers, good education and a living wage!!!!)
The good news is that the letters to the California Veterinarian Medical
Association (CVMA) is starting to turn the registered support around to
opposition
of AB1634. Hopefully, it will be in time!!! The letters people wrote around
the state and the 2460 letters that went out under the CFoDC letterhead are
not being ignored. GOOD Going for those that wrote. Los Angeles, most ofl
L.A. county (naturally?, Oakland and pockets around the state still need the
"personal" touch. so?????? email me and I shall give............
