If an organization wants to have a secure web site that uses encryption, it 
needs to obtain a site, or 
host, certificate. There are two elements that indicate that a site uses 
encryption If you set your browser 
security to high, it will want a cerrtificate on a password protected area - 
which does not require a 
certificate  

Blacklisting occurs when too many bounces happen to an email address - and you 
often will get a post 
telling you that this ISP has been blacklisted.  In this email is usually a 
link that allows you to complete 
a form to request being white listed

This list tries to prevent blacklisting by the following means:
- Having list members with full mailboxes automatically set to vacation to 
prevent raising the bounce 
number
- Not allowing attachments or html encoded posts  (html emails like websites 
can contain malicious 
code/critters). PLAIN TEXT ONLY.

You are also asked to remove any list post ffrom your SP*M/JUNK MAIL FOLDERS or 
your ISP reports 
the list as such.

Anti virus software does not prevent certain critters - only programs like 
spywaredoctor does
These critter steal your mail password, so after removal of critters, you MUST 
change your password.

SPYWARE is different from adware.
