We are bound to the By Laws of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America, Inc. and
cannot violate them for any reason.
YOU as a member are bound to the By Laws of this Organization also, and should
not even
consider a violation of these rules let alone request it.
IF for any reason the membership and Board decide there are specific changes
that are well
advised to change for the good of this Organization there are proper procedures
to follow and
this is not any one of those procedures!
To blatantly disregard and purposefully violate the By Laws of the GSDCA, Inc.
would be
anarchy for this Organization and the very end of our Parent Club.
I don't believe our Parent Club is in that much disarray because of a poorly
marked envelope
and a Postal Service "glitch" that is very simply being resolved by furnishing
our own
envelopes or crossing off a bar code or even our return address if it is
returned. The address
to Election Services is still on the original envelope and all the envelope
has
to do is ARRIVE
at Election Services and your ballot will be counted as they have themselves
stated.
This is hardly a reason to call for violating our own By Laws or to knowingly
violate them.

These by-laws are for OUR club, not anyone else. We created them and we can
change them. The Board members were voted into office by us and represent
us. In a perfect world, they vote as directed by the majority of the
membership.
That being said, I as a member, am instructing my board to violate in this
case. Other members of this club have the option of expressing their wishes
to the same board. When the board votes on any issue they need to take into

While I agree to follow the law, I disagree in this case. Every member of
this club has the right to have his ballot counted. This is OUR club and
OUR votes will be counted. We did not cause this mess and why should the
members /candidates suffer due to the ballot company. If we chose to
violate
OUR
By-Laws, then so be it. In being fair to ALL, I vote to violate!!! Running
a red light is violating the law, but I sure hope the ambulance that is
