NOW, that is the smartest answer yet! Bravo!
I always wanted to do just that. My one girl produced sables when bred to a
black and tan, so she is a sable. I was tempted to get the DNA color test
done and enter her in a show, with her color test results. Thought it would be
fun, if nothing else!

he fuss is about.
The white dog looks white but really is sable, or bi or black and tan, etc.
So, swab the dog, sent it off to VetGen to find out what the dogs true color
is.
hen register the dog as it's true color. No changing of the standard needed.
nly albinos would be a true white. At shows one would just ask, "say... nice
ooking dog, what color is he?". Same with advertising, just list what color
he dog really is.
OK, now ready for the "who is running for the board" arguments.
